Was a little doubtful about accepting their low quote on my home insurance. There are a lot of complaints about their claims service around on the internet. Had no problems for five years and then a kitchen fire. Quite a lot of smoke damage. So I went to every builder, decorator, electrical supplier, furniture suppliers. Got reports, valuations and estimates. It drove me mad but I had every bit of evidence to support the claim. When there was no reply, I tried calling the claims center and got nowhere. It was three weeks before an assessor contacted me but he proved reasonable and, after a few conversations, agreed a settlement. Took a while longer for the check to come, but the house is spruced up again. The hard work paid off. Cant say what would have happened without it but Im still quite happy with them.
